Dear Residents,
Summer has arrived! Here is a little update on what has been happening around St Mary’s Garden Village.
Allotments
It is brilliant to see the allotments being used by residents. If you are interested in renting one yourself, please get in touch with Emma at accounts@elite-propertymanagement.com.
The Gym
We have had some reports that there have been some gym users without a booking. We would like to remind all gym users to please book their gym sessions on the App before using the gym. Please also remember that access codes are not to be shared with non-residents.
We continue to be grateful to the majority for taking such care of the gym by wiping down the equipment after use and leaving things as they were found. It is very much appreciated and helps the caretakers keep the hub up and running.
The Hall
There are lots of brilliant events being held at the Hub, as well as lots of great regular classes. Please continue to clean up after events and classes, and leave the kitchen as you found it; it makes such a difference to the caretakers.
- The Residents’ Association holds a coffee morning on the first Saturday of the month from 10am – 12 noon.
- The WI has a meeting on the second Tuesday evening of the month.
- There is a book club that meets monthly and although they are currently full, they have offered their support if anyone is interested in starting a second group.
- There is a fitness class held on Monday evenings.
- There is yoga held on a Wednesday morning and evening.
- There have also been monthly quiz nights taking place which residents are enjoying.
We hope you will take advantage of the beautiful weather and enjoy the picnic benches.
As ever, a big thank you to your fabulous caretakers who do a brilliant job keeping the Hub running.
If you have any regular bookings, events, or news that you would like shared on the St Mary’s Garden Village website, please send an email to megan@elite-propertymanagement.com.
Parking
Please could all residents ensure that they park their vehicles considerately around the site, ensuring that there is space for pedestrians and vehicles (including emergency vehicles) to get around safely and ensuring that no one’s driveway or view at junctions is blocked. Please also continue to drive slowly around the site, and encourage delivery drivers to do the same, to keep everyone safe.
Play Park
The annual report was completed on the playground. A contractor has been out to carry out some repairs that were flagged up by the report. We are waiting on the delivery of hinges and gate stoppers to be able to safely rehang the entrance gates – this is due to be completed this month.
Other
There was some damage to a pane of glass on the jetty, which was promptly boarded up for safety – the new panel is on order and will be installed as soon as possible.
We are aware that some of the new trees planted by Edenstone are unfortunately struggling and dying with the lack of rain we have had. This has been raised with Edenstone, but if anyone has the time or means to help, it would be fantastic if residents could do some watering during the extreme weather in the meantime.
As ever, if anyone has any questions or concerns, do feel free to get in touch.
Kind regards
Elite Residential Property Management
